Sierra de Guadarrama: the Fuenfría Roman Road
A first-century Roman road, cobbled and with steep sections, that climbs from Cercedilla up to the Fuenfría mountain pass, on the border between Madrid and Segovia. A real elevation gain of up to 500 m and an uneven surface that tests the carriage's suspension and centre of gravity.
